EAN·UCC編碼系統(tǒng)廣為全球129個國家及經(jīng)濟(jì)體系超過九十萬家企業(yè)采用。美國統(tǒng)一代碼委員會(UCC)已定立明確目標(biāo)，于2005年1月前，所有其會員可同時接納13數(shù)字的EAN/UCC-13編碼和UPC編碼。屆時所有北美洲/加拿大的零售商將可于銷售點(diǎn)掃瞄EAN·UCC編碼，讀取所需數(shù)據(jù)。倘
貴公司于美國/加拿大的客戶現(xiàn)階段未能采用13數(shù)字的EAN/UCC-13編碼， 貴公司可向本會申請UCC編碼。 EAN·UCC
Numbering System is adopted by nearly 900,000 corporates across
129 countries/economies. The UCC has established a sunrise date
for its members to accept the 13-digit EAN/UCC-13 as well as
the UPC at the point-of-sale no later than January 2005. All
retailers in North America or Canada would be required to be
able to scan and store EAN·UCC number. If your US/Canada customers
affirm that they cannot accommodate the 13-digit data structure
of EAN/UCC-13 at the moment, your company can apply a UCC Company
Prefix from the HKANA.

EAN/UCC公司編號一般依順序而分發(fā)，本會亦可按申請公司之要求編配幸運(yùn)號碼，有關(guān)之手續(xù)費(fèi)用需于申請時一次繳交，詳情如下:The
EAN/UCC Company Prefixes are issued on sequential basis, however,
a company can choose its own specific Lucky Number for an additional
one-time payment. The HKANA will assign a Lucky Number as the
EAN/UCC Company Prefix of a member according to the price listed
below: |
